Video editing and camera work is something that I enjoy to great lengths. I have now been working with video production for
four years, counting my time at Slippery Rock University. Unfortunately, I am unable to post a lot of my work on my own website due to the completed copyrights belonging to other individuals. |

Video
Photography
Photography is something that I have been interested in for many years, though I have only pursued that interest for the last two years. My experiences in video production, especially working with lighting, helped to open my eyes to photography and really motivate me to get started.
My gear is anything but new, as I prefer to do my work with 35mm film. At this time, I have a Minolta SRT-201, a Kodak Pony II rangefinder and a Holga BC135 (which is a good camera to experiment on). I'm trying to track down an Argus C3 and possibly begin doing some portrait work.

Animation
Animation is something that I have less experience in than the other fields you'll see listed on my website, though it is something that I am keenly interested in. The animations that you will see on this page were all made for class projects in Adobe Flash CS4 or Photoshop CS4/5. During my internship, I learned how to animate with Adobe After Effects. I have since used After Effects for the creation of animations that I am unfortunately unable to show here. Animation is something that I would like to continue to gain experience in, as it's quite rewarding to watch it come to life.

Graphics
Working with graphics is something that has been an interest of mine for about eight years. During my college days, I began to become increasingly more enamored with it, seeing my interest reach peak in the last year. I have been using Adobe Photoshop for the majority of those eight years (starting out on 7 and working my up to CS5). Illustrator is a program that, while my relationship with it is much newer, I have been working with quite frequently. I am largely self taught in both os these programs, having learned the hard way through countless mistakes, tutorials and lots of head scratching.

Audio
Audio and I have a complicated relationship. I thoroughly enjoy working with audio (and frequently work as the sound man on video shoots), but seldom have the opportunity to do the editing work. Below are a few examples of audio projects that I undertook for my Edit for Audio class.
